Like the Wicker Park and Schaumburg locations, this newest spa addition boasts 5,000 pleasure-pursuing square feet. The first floor’s environment is serene and nurturing. Six spa rooms are decked out primarily in bamboo—posts for the walls and planks on the floors—and are dedicated to an exotic menu of massages, facials and waxes. Rooms are padded in ultrasuede for sound absorption. Most luxurious is the enclosed slate-tile steam shower room with heated floors, where you can customize your rain shower with aromatherapy. Upstairs houses all hair services, including eyebrow design, and the feel is livelier. All services begin with a neck pillow and cup of tea. Don’t leave without a little Aveda retail therapy at the front of the house.
