The Soap Box Shop
Description
This Highland Park gift shop doesn't just wait until the holidays to get into the giving spirit, with items in stock holding a
greater significance. And don’t be fooled by the name, although caring
mostly personal care items, it stocks more than just soap: Take the Gecko Trading purses made from recycled rice bags ($18-$36) that provide income for Cambodian women with disabilities, or the Blommin’ cards containing seeds that can be planted underground to help replenish the earth ($3). Even the décor gives back with a chandelier made of salvaged bottles, shelving from old swing set ladders and a mural painted by local special education students.
Amazing soaps and body products. I am someone who has extremely sensitive skin and since I started purchasing all of my body care products from the Soap Box shop I no longer have to worry if I will suffer from a reaction. Don't let Lush fool you, their products are not all natural or organic. The Soap Box Shop also supports several local non-profits, which gives job training skills to women and make beautiful organic body care products.
GUARANTEED !! This store will be OUT OF BUSINESS IN 6 MONTHS !
soapboxtraders.com does not even do soap. Loved the Morgan bible and can not wait to see what other stuff gets added to the site.
Soapbox Shop rocks! Amazing mind-relaxing bath fizzles so beautiful to display, so relaxing to soak; bubble bath so rich; one teaspoon fills my tub to the ceiling with bubbles. I am giving gift baskets to my work colleagues, as well as to my friends with doggies. Their doggy soaps and oils are amazing. My golden retriever never looked better! And I am a resident of Los Angeles, CA, and ordered Soapbox products through the mail. Fabulous stuff!
